68 C10 Restoration Update - Part 8 - Starting to paint!

Well starting to hit the top of the mountain of the restoration. Wrapping in up the last of the bodywork, had a few spots left on the door and top of the dash.

Then started to mask off the top and the front of the fenders as those are painted white when doing a factory style two tone like the truck originally had.

The from there is was time to get serious! Mixed up and laid down a coat of sealer primer and then let that sit for a half hour then mixed up the white paint and laid it down followed up with clear. The end result was alright, had some issues with water getting past the water traps on the air hose so made a little mess on the top of the cab, think we can gut and buff it smooth, if not going to have to repaint a portion of the top.
